In the present competitive era, every Higher Education Institution is aware and understands the need to promote, stimulate, and facilitate research and development activities to lay a strong foundation and register growth in the creation, preservation, and promotion of knowledge, research, collaboration, and establishment links with Government Agencies, Public Sector undertakings, Industries, National – International Agencies as well as other social organization to establish itself as an Institution of excellence in management education and research. The principal objective of the faculty development program on Research Funded Projects and Consultancy Projects is to disseminate knowledge on processes and promote research in all Management and social sciences branches. This FDP strives to achieve excellence in drafting research proposals, undertaking consultancy, and instilling a spirit of collaborative and interdisciplinary research in the delegates.

RESOURCE PERSON
P. Vigneswara Ilavarasan (PhD - IIT Kanpur) is Abdulaziz Alsagar Chair Professor at the Dept. of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He is Professor-in-Charge of University of Queensland & IIT Delhi Research Academy which has more than 100 PhD students. Prof Ilavarasan researches and teaches about the interaction of information and communication technologies (ICTs), society & and business. He is one of the top 2% cited scholars in the world in 2022, 2023 as per the Elsevier & Stanford study. He has been a Visiting Research Fellow at the United Nations University (Macau), Curtin University, and the University of Queensland. He is a recipient of the Outstanding Young Faculty Fellowship Award at IIT Delhi, and Prof. M.N. Srinivas Memorial Prize of the Indian Sociological Society. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at LIRNEasia, a leading regional ICT policy and regulation think tank. He has received significant research grants of Rs 3.2 crores as a principal investigator and Rs 10 crores as Co-principal investigator from Dept of Science & Technology (Govt of India), ICSSR (India), IDRC (Canada), Oxford Analytica (UK), IPTS (European Commission), CIPPEC (Argentina) and IdeaCorp (Philippines). He is currently a Section Editor of Society & Politics, Heliyon (Elsevier & Cell Press). His research has appeared in all the leading international journals and conferences of repute.
